Major Murali Bhaskaran RMAF (RTD)

Major Murali Bhaskaran is a retired officer of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) who served as an Air Traffic Controller and Staff Officer in charge of Search and Rescue (SAR). Following his retirement, he founded Global SAR Resources Sdn Bhd, where he currently serves as CEO.

The company specializes in providing consultancy and training on SAR operations across land, aeronautical, and maritime domains.

Under his leadership, Global SAR Resources organized multiple International Search and Rescue Conferences and Exhibitions, with the 10th iteration held in 2024.

Major Bhaskaran has been an advocate for enhancing Malaysia's SAR capabilities, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement in response to incidents like the MH370 tragedy.
